Ashley Manship, LSW, Youth First Social Worker at Paoli Jr./Sr. High School and Throop Elementary in Orange County

Ashley Manship is a Youth First Social Worker who embodies Youth First’s commitment to cared-for-kids. Ashley said she was drawn to Youth First when she saw an opportunity to serve students in her community. “I love working with children and families, so this position afforded me the opportunity to continue that work in the county I live in.”

Ashley says she finds meaningful moments almost every day when she is working with her students. “One particular child absolutely hated every adult in this school at the beginning of the year, but we have the best relationship now. They give me a hug every time they see me.” 

“I’ve only been here a little over a year but I LOVE IT! I love the hours and the extra time I get with my family that I didn’t have before.  I love this organization.  Everyone I have met and work with are extremely kind and helpful. Honestly, I feel blessed to have been chosen for this position. Youth First has changed my life by giving me the amazingly positive support and the freedom to evolve professionally that I didn’t have before.”
